My name is Quinton Ganther and I’m currently the Running Back Coach at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I’m writing on behalf of Maxwell Anderson because I recruited him, I was employed at Weber State University. The year that I signed Maxwell, I signed 3 other defensive backs, all from the Bay Area. The thing that stood out about Maxwell over the 3 other kids was his maturity and his ability to make plays as well as dissect what the other team’s offense was doing. I told our defensive coordinator that Maxwell would come in and play right away and that’s what he did. Our defensive coordinator asked me later that year how I knew this, and I simply told him throughout the recruiting process, he was just different. While I was coaching Maxwell, he was an All-American and rated the #1 Cornerback in FCS Football. I then left and went on to coach in the NFL and believed he would be a guy that would play on Sundays. I will stand on the table for Maxwell any day of the week because he’s extremely talented and has a high IQ and great work ethic. Thank you for allowing me to share my experiences with Maxwell!
